"Saving Sedalia” documents the lives of a Sedalia Housing Authority resident, Chrissy, who’s battled poverty and homelessness; Jack and Sandi, a director and volunteer, respectively, from a local food bank; Claudia, head of the Sedalia chapter of Mothers Against Methamphetamine and Johnny, a former methamphetamine abuser who now teaches youth about the dangers of drugs and the hope in recovery.

With various media –– both photos and videos, and a written account –– we aim to tell these subjects’ stories and give a voice to the residents of Sedalia, a small town often overlooked by mainstream coverage.
